Motor Fuel Tax Project - Cherokee & Pawnee Streets

Greene & Bradford, Inc. provided Phase I, II & III service to City of Taylorville for providing design services for the roadway improvements on Cherokee and Pawnee Streets. The Project consisted of curb and gutter removal and replacement, inlet adjustments, pavement milling, and pavement overlay of the streets. There were sections of curb and gutter in need of repair and inlets that were modified to improve drainage. Both streets were concrete pavement, which was milled, and a layer of A-1 Bituminous Surface Treatment was applied as an area reflective crack control measure. Finally, a layer of HMA Binder Course and HMA Surface Course were installed.
